About The Position

The PM Server serves food and beverages to hotel guests courteously and efficiently, following hotel specifications. The role supports the restaurant’s daily operations by maintaining the restaurant area and equipment, collecting payments, and helping ensure food and beverage safety and quality. The server must communicate effectively with guests, management, and coworkers and comply with daily operational procedures and hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• Meet the minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers so they understand.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training, such as TIPS.

Nice To Haves

• Some college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders and retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Collect payments.
• Assist with maintaining the restaurant area and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with and completion of daily Food and Beverage Department operational procedures.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality according to hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Communicate with the General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
