About The Position

The PM Dishwasher is responsible for washing, handling, and storing tableware and kitchenware; operating and maintaining the dish machine; and keeping dishroom, food preparation, and production areas clean and organized. The role also includes removing trash and garbage, moving supplies and equipment, performing basic food preparation as needed, and maintaining health and sanitation standards. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum lifting capacity of 70 pounds.
• Minimum pulling capacity of 70 pounds.
• Ability to push, bend, stoop, and reach upward.
• Manual dexterity.
• Hearing ability.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and promptly report functional or mechanical problems.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep the dishroom clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage, place it in designated containers, and haul it to the dumpster.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or with a hand truck.
• Perform basic food preparation as needed.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
