About The Position

Roots Frontier Hospitality Group is hiring a part-time PM Bistro Bartender for evening shifts at the Courtyard by Marriott in Bettendorf. The bartender creates a welcoming bar experience for hotel guests and local customers, serving drinks and food as needed while providing friendly, dependable service. The role includes preparing for service, maintaining an organized work area, coordinating with the team as needs change, and completing a smooth close. The employee must be flexible to work evenings and weekends and willing to cross-train as a barista.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of bartending experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Dependable follow-through.
• Willingness to cross-train as a barista.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders and use suggestive selling and upselling.
• Share specials and make menu recommendations.
• Mix cocktails and serve alcoholic beverages, and serve food when needed.
• Run checks and process payments using the POS system.
• Prepare the Bistro bar for evening service and welcome guests.
• Keep the bar area organized and coordinate with the team as needs change.
• Close smoothly and leave the area ready for the next shift.
