About The Position

Courtyard by Marriott in Bettendorf is hiring a part-time PM Bistro Bartender for evening shifts, including weekends. The bartender welcomes travelers and locals, creates a comfortable bar experience, serves drinks and food as needed, and helps maintain a steady pace of service. The role also involves keeping the work area organized, coordinating with the team, and closing smoothly so the next shift is prepared. The bartender must be willing to cross-train as a barista.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of bartending experience.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders and use suggestive selling and upselling.
• Share specials and make menu recommendations.
• Mix cocktails and serve alcoholic beverages, and serve food when needed.
• Run checks and process payments in the POS system.
• Welcome guests and help create a comfortable bar experience.
• Keep the work area organized and coordinate with the team as needs change.
• Close smoothly and prepare the area for the next shift.
