About The Position

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven PM Bistro Attendant to serve food and beverages and help provide a positive guest and colleague experience. The role includes preparing and serving Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages, handling guest transactions, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, and assisting with hotel and meeting-room services as needed. Compensation is $16.00 per hour plus tips. Comprehensive benefit packages are available for full-time positions.

Requirements

1 to 3 months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong work ethic and motivation to exceed expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish rapport with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Assist with Bistro setup and closing using provided checklists.
Enter orders into the cash register and secure accurate payment.
Prepare and serve Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages.
Prepare coffee of the day and specialty coffee drinks, including café lattes and cappuccinos, by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
Follow food safety and handling policies and procedures, including product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
Complete the daily inventory prep sheet.
Help maintain the cleanliness of the Bistro and surrounding areas.
Complete bussing and sidework responsibilities.
Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
Stock and replenish inventory displays for guest purchase.
Assist with meeting-room setup and service as needed.
Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle as needed.
