About The Position

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven Bistro Attendant to help ensure a great experience for guests and colleagues. The role serves food and beverages to customers and involves preparing Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages for the PM Attendant. Compensation is $16.00 per hour plus tips. Requirements

1 to 3 months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong work ethic and motivation to exceed expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish rapport with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up and closing the Bistro using provided checklists.
Enter orders into the cash register and secure accurate payment.
Prepare and serve Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages as a PM Attendant.
Prepare coffee of the day and specialty coffee drinks, including café lattes and cappuccinos, by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
Follow food safety and handling procedures, including product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
Complete the daily inventory preparation sheet.
Help maintain the cleanliness of the Bistro and surrounding areas.
Complete bussing and sidework responsibilities.
Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
Stock and replenish inventory displays for guest purchase.
Assist with setting up and servicing the meeting room as needed.
Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle as needed.
