About The Position

DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven Bistro Attendant to help ensure a positive experience for hotel guests and colleagues. The role serves food and beverages, supports Bistro operations, and may assist with meeting-room service and guest transportation using the hotel shuttle. The posting specifies PM duties, including preparing and serving Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages. Compensation is $16.50 per hour plus possible tips; compensation may vary somewhat by location.

Requirements

1 to 3 months of related experience; a high school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong work ethic and motivation to exceed expectations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish rapport with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Assist with Bistro setup and closing using provided checklists.
Enter orders into the cash register and secure accurate payment.
Prepare and serve Bistro fare and alcoholic beverages (PM Attendant).
Prepare coffee of the day and specialized coffee drinks, including café lattes and cappuccinos, by brewing espresso and steaming milk.
Follow food safety and handling procedures, including product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaning.
Complete the daily inventory prep sheet.
Maintain the cleanliness of the Bistro and surrounding areas.
Complete bussing and sidework responsibilities.
Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.
Stock and replenish inventory displays for guest purchase.
Assist with setup and servicing of the meeting room as needed.
Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle as needed.
