About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients. This is a mobile practice, with facility visits within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record. The position offers full-time or part-time work. Full-time physicians generally work 4–5 days per week, with a stated schedule of Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Requirements

Hold an active, full, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
