About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Vascular Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The practice offers full-time schedules of four to five weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and part-time opportunities of at least three days per week. There are no call, night, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The position is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available. W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 annually, with a stated salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year.

Requirements

Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state of practice.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
