About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a General Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use modern wound care modalities and proprietary wound-specific EMR software to document care in real time at the point of care. This is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Physicians typically visit 2–3 facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day. The position offers full-time work, generally 4–5 weekdays per week, or part-time work of at least 3 weekdays per week. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting describes W2 employment and states that W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
