About The Position

Pizza makers prepare food products to Domino’s Pizza specifications, including pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides. The role also involves stocking and rotating ingredients, dating products, handling customer orders and phone calls, bringing orders to customers’ cars in all weather, and completing daily cleaning and sanitation tasks. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Eye-hand and motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing or crouching.
• Ability to work around varying temperatures, adverse weather, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides to Domino’s Pizza specifications.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and date all products.
• Move soda from storage to coolers.
• Take and receive phone calls and process orders.
• Take customer orders in person at the front counter or pickup windows.
• Bring customers’ food to their cars in all weather conditions.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
• Unload deliveries and move, lift, and stock ingredients and supplies.
