About The Position

AMNJ Ent Inc is a locally owned, family-operated Domino’s Pizza franchise that emphasizes supporting its team members and community. Pizza Makers prepare products to Domino’s specifications, including pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides. They also stock and date ingredients, rotate stock using FIFO, assist customers with orders in person and by phone, bring orders to customers’ cars in all weather conditions, and clean and sanitize the store. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role involves working with food and kitchen equipment in a store environment with temperatures ranging from approximately 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in some work areas. Team members may encounter hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, and changing weather conditions during outside tasks.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work standing for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases lifted from the floor to shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to carry items including pizza sauce weighing approximately 30 pounds and trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Ability to push or pull trays on dollies and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Ability to bend, crouch, squat, and reach continuously or as required by stocking, cleaning, and food-preparation tasks.
Ability to use hands continuously, including frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists when shaping pizza dough.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions and in store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in coolers to 90 degrees or above in some work areas.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, sides, and other products to Domino’s specifications.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Rotate stock using FIFO and date all products.
Move soda from storage to coolers.
Take and receive phone calls and process orders.
Take customer orders in person at the front counter or pickup windows.
Bring customers’ food to their cars in all weather conditions.
Clean and sanitize the store, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move, carry, push, or pull ingredients and supplies as needed.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
