About The Position

AMNJ Ent Inc is a locally owned, family-operated Domino’s Pizza franchise seeking a Pizza Maker. Team members prepare food to Domino’s specifications, assist customers with orders, stock and rotate ingredients, and maintain a clean and sanitary workplace. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role involves frequent standing and reaching, repetitive hand and arm use, and working around ovens, coolers, food-preparation equipment, and changing temperatures. Team members may unload and move supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, take food to customers’ cars in varying weather, and occasionally climb stairs or a ladder. Work schedules may include shifts of 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours, day or night shifts, and weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Able to coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Able to stand for most tasks and walk short distances.
Able to lift and move deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the described carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing tasks.
Able to work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and interact with people.
Able to distinguish hot and cold surfaces and meet the role’s vision, hearing, and telephone communication needs.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides according to Domino’s specifications.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Rotate stock using FIFO, date products, and move soda from storage to coolers.
Take and receive phone calls and take customer orders in person at the front counter or pickup windows.
Bring customers’ orders to their cars in all weather conditions.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and shelves.
Use pizza-preparation tools, including a pizza peel and pizza cutter, and assemble cardboard pizza boxes.
