About The Position

AMNJ Ent Inc, a locally owned and family-operated Domino’s Pizza franchise, is hiring a Pizza Maker. Team members prepare food according to Domino’s Pizza specifications, including pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides. The role also involves stocking and dating products, interacting with customers in person and by phone, bringing orders to customers’ cars in all weather conditions, and cleaning and sanitizing the store. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position involves working in a restaurant environment with temperatures ranging from approximately 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or higher in some areas, as well as exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing or crouching.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing or crouching.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides according to Domino’s Pizza specifications.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Rotate stock using FIFO, move soda to coolers, and date all products.
Take and receive phone calls and enter and process customer orders.
Take orders from customers at the front counter or pickup windows.
Bring customers’ food to their cars in all weather conditions.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
Use a pizza cutter and pizza peel to prepare and handle pizzas.
