About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers for full-time and part-time positions. Drivers deliver products by car to customers, may deliver flyers and door hangers, and may take and process orders by phone or in person. The role includes navigating a designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings, and working with customers and coworkers. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The posting describes flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Ability to understand and provide written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to carry pizzas and beverages and perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions and in a store environment with temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to meet the role’s vision and sensing needs, including far and night vision for driving, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and distinguishing hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate routes and locate customer addresses using maps and other navigational skills.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations; multiple deliveries may be made during a shift.
Take and process customer orders by phone and in person, and enter orders using a keyboard or touchscreen.
Communicate with customers and coworkers and make correct monetary change.
Perform other in-store and outside tasks as needed, including removing trash.
