About The Position
Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers for full-time and part-time positions. Drivers deliver food by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes taking and processing orders, communicating with customers and coworkers, entering orders on a computer keyboard or touch screen, and making accurate monetary change. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and must navigate the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to read a map, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, including by telephone, with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination and ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to carry pizzas and beverages and perform the walking and climbing required for deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Take and process customer orders by phone and in person, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers and provide correct written instructions.
- Make accurate monetary change.
- Navigate delivery routes and locate addresses, including in multi-story buildings and other challenging delivery sites.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
