About The Position
Domino's is hiring delivery drivers for full-time and part-time positions. Drivers deliver food by car to customers, handle order-related tasks, and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes driving within a designated area and traveling between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may need to navigate multi-story buildings and other challenging delivery sites. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses in the delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping or bending, crouching or squatting, and reaching.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers' doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Take and process orders by phone and in person, including entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers and provide correct written instructions.
- Make accurate calculations and monetary change.
- Navigate to addresses using maps and navigate challenging terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
