About The Position

AMNJ Ent Inc is a locally owned, family-operated Domino’s Pizza franchise that describes itself as people-focused and community-oriented. Pizza Makers prepare menu items to Domino’s specifications, stock and date ingredients, assist customers with orders and pickup, and help maintain a clean and sanitary store. Team members may also take food to customers’ cars in all weather conditions. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position involves standing for most tasks, frequent walking and reaching, repetitive hand and arm use, and lifting and moving supplies. Work can involve hot ovens and surfaces, coolers, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and occasional outdoor tasks in adverse weather. Work surfaces and the walk-in cooler may be cramped. Shifts listed include 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, with day and night shifts and weekend availability.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for most tasks; frequent reaching and hand use; bending and occasional crouching; moving trays; and lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, sides, and other products according to Domino’s specifications.
Stock ingredients and supplies from deliveries in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; rotate stock using FIFO and date products.
Move soda from storage to coolers.
Take and receive phone calls and enter and process customer orders by phone, in person, at the front counter, or at pickup windows.
Bring customers’ food to their cars in all weather conditions.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to shelves and work areas.
Use equipment such as a pizza cutter and pizza peel to prepare and handle food.
Complete occasional tasks such as changing prices on signs, washing walls, and performing maintenance.
