About The Position

The Pizza Maker prepares pizzas and other products to Domino’s Pizza specifications, including pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides. The role also includes stocking and rotating ingredients, dating products, helping customers place orders in person and by phone, and taking food out to customers’ cars in all weather conditions. Team members perform daily cleaning and sanitation duties, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position involves working in a restaurant environment with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot oven surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching and hand use. Team members may lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, sandwiches, and sides according to Domino’s Pizza specifications.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Rotate stock using FIFO and date all products.
Move soda from storage to coolers.
Take and receive phone calls and process orders.
Take customer orders at the front counter or pickup windows.
Bring customers’ food to their cars in all weather conditions.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation, including sweeping and mopping, cleaning coolers, taking out trash, and washing dishes.
Unload deliveries using a hand truck and lift and stack cases of ingredients and supplies.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and process transactions.
