About The Position
Swallowing Diagnostics is seeking MDs or DOs for a hands-on role providing on-site care aboard mobile medical units in Parkland, Port Charlotte, and Bradenton, Florida. The work combines patient evaluations, supervision of modified barium swallow diagnostic testing, and assistance with patient transport in a collaborative clinical setting. The established mobile practice brings diagnostic services directly to patients. The schedule is 2–4 days per week. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and should not apply if they experience motion sickness or claustrophobia.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Florida physician license.
- Geriatric experience required.
- Computer proficiency and comfort with electronic medical records.
- Ability to safely assist with patient transport and mobility.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Applicants should not experience motion sickness or claustrophobia.

- Ability to communicate in additional languages.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate an average of 6–8 patients per day.
- Supervise modified barium swallow diagnostic testing.
- Operate a fluoroscopic C-arm.
- Assist with transporting patients into and out of the mobile medical unit.
- Complete electronic documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
