About The Position
Swallowing Diagnostics is seeking MD/DO physicians to provide on-site care aboard mobile medical units in Parkland, Port Charlotte, and Bradenton, Florida. This hands-on role combines patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, and assistance with patient transport in a collaborative clinical setting. The practice provides modified barium swallow studies and brings diagnostic services directly to patients. The schedule is 2–4 days per week. Applicants must be comfortable working in a team environment and must not experience motion sickness or claustrophobia.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Florida physician license.
- Geriatric experience.
- Computer proficiency and comfort with electronic medical records.
- Ability to safely assist with patient transport and mobility.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must not experience motion sickness or claustrophobia.

- Ability to communicate in additional languages.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate an average of 6–8 patients per day.
- Supervise modified barium swallow diagnostic testing.
- Operate a fluoroscopic C-arm.
- Assist with transporting patients into and out of the mobile medical unit.
- Complete electronic documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
