About The Position

Medline has an immediate need for a Medical Sales Representative supporting Physician Offices in the Orlando area. The role is part of the Alternate Site Sales team, whose customers include physician offices, urgent care, dermatology, community health, and women's health practices. The representative develops a territory and customer base for residual medical supplies, including disposables, exam gloves, point-of-care tests, capital equipment, and diagnostics. The position involves calling on healthcare personnel, building customer relationships, presenting products, preparing quotations, and educating customers on the medical and fiscal benefits of products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience with cold calling and commissioned, full-cycle sales experience; or at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience with cold calling and commissioned, full-cycle sales experience.
• Demonstrated track record of sales growth and quota attainment.
• Ability to present multiple product lines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Stable work history.
• Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to drive a car, travel in it 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop an assigned territory selling residual-based medical supplies.
• Build relationships and develop a customer base of alternate-site physician offices and hospital-based practices.
• Make new calls daily to develop new customers.
• Work with manufacturers to present products to the physician community.
• Prepare and deliver product quotations.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers.
• Prepare and maintain a territory plan.
• Create and grow a residual customer base in the alternate-site marketplace.
• Learn new items and train to present them to customers, explaining their medical and fiscal benefits.
