About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds Physician for a permanent, outpatient-only primary care role with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Rich Square, North Carolina. The position serves an underserved rural community within a mission-driven healthcare organization operating multiple clinic locations in northeastern North Carolina. Providers deliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, including preventive care and chronic disease management, in a collaborative, team-based environment with full clinical and administrative support. Dental services and an in-house pharmacy are available; there are no on-site specialists. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday, with five days preferred, though three or four consecutive days may be considered. The clinic has a one-hour lunch break, sees approximately 16–18 patients per day, and is closed on major holidays. After-hours telephonic call is very light: experienced RN staff triage calls first, and providers are contacted only for urgent situations or documentation clarification. No weekend or holiday call is required. The start date is as soon as possible, and the EMR is eClinicalWorks. The employer offers a competitive compensation package, sign-on bonus and retention incentives, relocation assistance, CME funding and time, malpractice coverage through the Federal Tort Claims Act, paid time off, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions beginning after two years, and reimbursement of professional fees and dues. Loan repayment programs may be available to eligible providers.
