About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an FNP or PA-C for a permanent, outpatient-only primary care role at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Rich Square, North Carolina. The position serves an underserved rural community and provides comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, including preventive care and chronic disease management. The organization is mission-driven and has multiple clinic locations in northeastern North Carolina, with a collaborative, team-based environment and full clinical and administrative support. Dental services and an in-house pharmacy are available; there are no on-site specialists. The preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, with openness to working three or four consecutive days. The expected patient volume is 16–18 per day, with a one-hour lunch break. After-hours telephonic call is very light: experienced RN staff triage calls first, and providers are contacted only for urgent situations or documentation clarification. There is no weekend or holiday call, and clinics are closed on major holidays. The EMR is eClinicalWorks. The start date is as soon as possible.

Requirements

FNP or PA-C.
At least 5 years of experience.
Willingness to see 16–18 patients per day.
Ability to meet quality metrics for preventive and chronic disease management.

Prior Medicare and Medicaid enrollment is preferred but not required.
