About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is recruiting an advanced practice provider for a permanent, outpatient-only primary care role at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Enfield, North Carolina. The provider will care for an underserved rural patient population in a mission-driven, team-based community health organization, delivering comprehensive primary care across the lifespan. The organization has multiple medical clinic locations in northeastern North Carolina, as well as dental services and in-house pharmacy support. Full clinical and administrative support is available; there are no on-site specialists.

The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, with five days preferred and an option for three to four consecutive days. The clinic sees approximately 16–18 patients per day and provides a one-hour lunch break. After-hours telephone call is very light: experienced RN staff triage calls first, and the provider is contacted only for urgent matters or documentation clarification. There is no weekend or holiday call, and clinics close on major holidays. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible. The EMR is eClinicalWorks.

Requirements

• Be an FNP or PA-C.
• Have at least 5 years of experience.
• Be willing to see 16–18 patients per day.
• Meet quality metrics for preventive and chronic disease management.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Medicare or Medicaid enrollment is preferred.
