About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Emergency Medicine team at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. This casual position involves working in both the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings. The Emergency Department is a Level IV Trauma Center with approximately 28,000 annual visits, and the Urgent Care operates with specific daily hours. The role requires some holiday work. The facility is a 65-licensed bed hospital with a 24-bed ED, utilizing a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). The location in Wyoming, Minnesota, offers a small-town feel with access to outdoor recreation and the northern Twin Cities area.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program
• BC/BE through the NCCPA
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of PA experience is preferred
• New grads who have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency/Fellowship will be considered

Responsibilities
