About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Medicine team at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. This casual position involves working in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Urgent Care. The ED sees an average of 77 patients per day with approximately 15% being pediatrics. The facility is a Level IV Trauma Center with a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). Wyoming, Minnesota offers a rural-suburban feel with access to outdoor recreation and the northern Twin Cities area.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Family Nurse Practitioner training program.
• BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC.
• Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
• ATLS Certified (Advanced Trauma Life Support). Level 4 Trauma.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of NP experience is preferred.
• Some ED experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
