About The Position
Essentia Health is seeking a casual physician to cover Emergency Medicine shifts in Ada, MN. This role involves covering a few weekends a year, with 63.5-hour shifts from Friday 4:30 pm to Monday 8:00 am. The department averages 8-15 patients per weekend. Family Medicine physicians in Ada cover the Emergency Medicine department. Essentia Health – Ada is a Level IV Trauma Center with a 14-bed Critical Access hospital. The organization is physician-led.
Requirements
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine or BC/BE Family Medicine with experience (or additional training in EM)
- ACLS, ATLS/CALS, PALS Certification
Responsibilities
- Covering Emergency Medicine shifts on weekends.
- Managing an average of 8-15 patients per weekend.
- Working 63.5-hour shifts from Friday 4:30 pm to Monday 8:00 am.
- Utilizing EPIC DAX ambient voice for clinical documentation.
