About The Position

The Physical Therapy Aide supports patient care and clinic operations while working alongside Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to physical therapy. The aide welcomes patients, assists with intake and registration, supports clinicians with scheduling, and helps patients with exercises and prescribed home exercise programs. The position is full-time at the Bensalem, Pennsylvania clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience, such as experience as a Physical Therapist Aide or Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employee, chiropractic worker, fitness industry worker, or PT or PTA student.
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact warmly with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and set up and adjust exercise equipment for physical therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
