About The Position

Physical Therapist sought for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting in Bowie, Maryland. This travel role requires expert clinical skills in geriatric rehabilitation while working within an interdisciplinary team. The assignment is for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent clinical degree
• 1+ year of experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations for residents and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with goals and prognosis
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional independence
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes and care in the chart
• Reassess residents regularly and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize care planning
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and discharge planning
• Maintain compliant documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements and facility policies
