About The Position

This is a travel Physical Therapist assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Quanah, Texas. The assignment is for a temporary position with a duration of 13 weeks, starting on 08/31/2026. The role involves outpatient-based therapy with involvement in Acute Care and Swing Bed programs, and also includes a pediatric caseload. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8-hour days, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Pediatric experience is required
No new graduates accepted
Ability to manage a diverse caseload including pediatric, neonatal through hospice, with outpatient-focused care and occasional acute care swing bed involvement
Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Eligible for a travel assignment and able to commit to a 13-week term

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning for a wide patient mix, with emphasis on pediatric and outpatient populations
Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans of care; monitor progress and adjust as needed
Deliver therapy services across outpatient caseload and contribute to acute care and swing bed program requirements as assigned
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; communicate with patients, families, and caregivers about goals and progress
Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to documentation standards; maintain accurate records and timely re-evaluation
