About The Position

Fullmind is hiring a virtual Physical Therapist to support K–12 students in U.S. schools. The position is fully remote and offered as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, with assignments available for the 2026–27 school year. Work follows the school district’s calendar; immediate start dates depend on available placements after completion of the application process. Compensation is $40–$65+ per hour based on experience, is negotiable, and is subject to change. The position does not include benefits.

The Physical Therapist will provide virtual services to students, assess their physical and functional abilities, develop and carry out treatment plans, document sessions and progress toward IEP goals, and communicate student progress to school or district personnel. The role also involves creating an engaging virtual environment and collaborating remotely with teachers, case managers, and families.

Requirements

• Hold an active state physical therapy license.
• Successfully complete the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Have experience with a reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform.
• Have a suitable technology setup, including a webcam, headset, stable internet, and private workspace.
• Be comfortable collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
• Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships.
• Evaluate students’ gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills.
• Develop and execute treatment plans that address specific student needs.
• Document sessions and record data on progress toward IEP goals.
• Meet with school or district personnel to communicate information about student progress.
