About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in the General specialty, located in Helena, Montana. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with a weekly pay range of $1,752 to $1,896 and 36 guaranteed hours per week. The role is a day shift position within a long-term care (LTC) facility setting.

Requirements

• Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program (DPT or equivalent)
• Active physical therapy license in the United States; Montana licensure or eligibility preferred
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and participate in a day shift
• Strong communication and documentation skills; willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment in Helena, MT

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Reassess progress regularly, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes and plan of care
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to coordinate care, communicate progress, and support discharge planning
• Ensure safe patient handling, adherence to documentation standards, and regulatory compliance during all treatments
