About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapist (General) in Plentywood, Montana. The role is based in a rural hospital-based inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation setting. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with 35 guaranteed hours per week, and operates on Day shifts. The position is staffed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Requirements

Active physical therapy license in Montana or eligibility to practice in Montana.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
Eligible for a 13-week travel assignment and able to work the listed Day shift in a rural hospital setting.

Nice To Haves

Experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, contributing to mobility, strength, and functional recovery.
Conduct patient evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
Utilize evidence-based PT methods to address orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions; support gait training, range of motion, strength, and functional activities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team (including nursing, occupational therapy, and speech therapy) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and, when appropriate, home health visits.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, progress expectations, and post-discharge strategies to support ongoing recovery.
