About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Physical Therapist in Fargo, North Dakota. The assignment is for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026. The role is in a long-term care rehabilitation setting and involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to residents.

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Active Physical Therapist license in North Dakota or eligible for licensure in North Dakota
Eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting

Nice To Haves

1 year of PT experience in geriatric or long-term care rehabilitation preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing reassessments to determine resident needs and progress.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care for residents, focusing on functional mobility and independence.
Provide effective physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and mobility training as appropriate.
Monitor resident progress, document treatment sessions in the medical record, and communicate with the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety, fall prevention, and discharge planning.
Ensure safety during therapy sessions, adhere to infection control protocols, and maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
