About The Position
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in a hospital setting in Deer Lodge, Montana. The position starts on 09/14/2026 and offers a day shift with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The weekly pay ranges from $2,072 to $2,197.
Requirements
- Ability to perform PT evaluations and develop plans of care for general inpatient populations.
- Strong documentation skills and effective communication with patients and the care team.
- Day shift availability for a 13-week assignment.
- Willingness to meet assignment credentialing and regulatory requirements as part of onboarding.
- Travel-ready with the ability to adapt to new teams and environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for general inpatient populations.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and functional outcomes.
- Reassess patient progress regularly, adjust goals, and document outcomes in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapy staff to coordinate care.
- Promote patient safety, manage assistive devices and equipment, and contribute to discharge planning as appropriate.
- Ensure clear, timely documentation and communication across care transitions.
