Requirements

Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
CPR/AED certification
Minimum of 2 years of outpatient PT experience
Ability to work in an outpatient, hospital-based setting and manage a daily caseload of 8–10 patients

Orthopedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments for outpatient clients, with emphasis on orthopedic-related needs when applicable.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans; monitor progress and modify goals as needed.
Provide direct care to approximately 8–10 patients per day, using evidence-based therapies, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies; coordinate discharge planning as appropriate.
Document therapy sessions thoroughly in accordance with hospital and payer requirements; communicate with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress and barriers.
