About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in a rural hospital setting in Wolf Point, MT. The assignment is for a 13- or 26-week agreement with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The role may involve travel between facilities as part of the rehabilitation team. Healthforce Healthcare LLC is the staffing agency.

Requirements

• Active Montana Physical Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work in a rural healthcare setting and travel between facilities as needed
• Proficiency with electronic health records and common healthcare software; strong critical thinking and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Dry needling or pelvic floor therapy certifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients; develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to improve mobility and function
• Deliver PT interventions including therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and modality-based treatments
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient settings; contribute to discharge planning
• Document assessments, goals, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and compliance
• Float between facilities as needed and adapt to varied patient populations and clinical situations
• Maintain safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards; manage equipment and supplies; assist with lifting and transfer of patients when appropriate
