About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in Lodi, California. The role is based in a short-term acute care hospital with an outpatient caseload. The position offers a weekly pay range of $2,532 to $2,719 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The shift is 4x10-hour days, and there are no on-call requirements.

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required; and per notes, this applies when a license was obtained after January 2016, or for foreign equivalents.
Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice is required.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy is required.
Ability to work in an outpatient caseload and support a 4x10-hour shift schedule; ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Two years of Physical Therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs to restore and improve physical function, participation, and quality of life.
Perform initial evaluations, ongoing re-assessments, and establish individualized treatment plans using evidence-based protocols.
Provide therapy interventions and educational guidance per approved treatment protocols; adjust plans as needed.
Serve as co-leader in an interdisciplinary team approach for patient groups; coordinate with other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
Develop individualized care and discharge plans; communicate plans to patients, families, and care teams.
Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines; supervise assigned assistants.
