About The Position

PeteHealth brings physical therapy into yoga and Pilates studios. The role is for California-licensed physical therapists who already teach yoga or Pilates and want to treat clients in the studios where they work. Covered sessions are billed as standard physical therapy office visits to clients’ commercial health plans when clients have a prescription and plan of care. PeteHealth verifies insurance, handles intake, billing, collections, and records; the therapist is paid by direct deposit for each covered visit. Therapists evaluate clients with diagnosed conditions, establish plans of care, and provide physical therapy for pain or injury. Treatments may take place in a studio, a client’s home, or the therapist’s home. Therapists continue teaching their existing classes and choose how much time to devote to covered sessions. PeteHealth supports studio setup, credentialing, documentation, and referrals.
