About The Position

PeteHealth is seeking California-licensed physical therapists who already teach yoga or Pilates and want to provide physical therapy in the studios where they work. Physical therapy sessions are provided to clients with a prescription and plan of care and billed to their commercial health plan as standard PT office visits. Clients may be referred by the therapist, the studio, or PeteHealth. The therapist evaluates clients with diagnosed conditions, establishes a plan of care, and provides treatment in a studio, the client’s home, or the therapist’s home. PeteHealth handles insurance verification, prescriptions, intake, billing, collections, and compliant records, and pays the therapist by direct deposit for each covered visit. Therapists continue teaching their existing classes and choose how much time to devote to covered sessions. PeteHealth supports studio setup and provides training on its documentation system.
