About The Position

PeteHealth brings physical therapy into yoga and Pilates studios. The role is for California-licensed physical therapists who already teach yoga or Pilates and want to provide covered physical therapy visits in studios where they work. Treatment may take place in a studio, a client’s home, or the therapist’s home. When a client has a prescription and plan of care, visits are billed to the client’s commercial health plan as standard physical therapy office visits, and the client pays their usual copay. PeteHealth handles insurance verification, intake, billing, collections, and records. Therapists evaluate clients, establish plans of care, provide treatment, and document visits in Pete’s system, for which training is provided. Therapists are paid by direct deposit for each covered visit and can choose how much time to devote to covered sessions while continuing to teach their classes and maintain their existing studio, clients, and schedule. PeteHealth also supports studio setup and may refer at-home patients who are ready for studio care.
