About The Position

PeteHealth is seeking California-licensed physical therapists who already teach yoga or Pilates and want to provide physical therapy to clients in the studios where they work. The role combines physical therapy with yoga and Pilates expertise: clients with a prescription and plan of care receive covered physical therapy, billed to their commercial health plan as a standard PT office visit. Clients may come from the therapist’s classes or private practice, or be referred by PeteHealth. Pete arranges or verifies prescriptions, insurance, and intake; the therapist evaluates clients, establishes plans of care, and provides treatment in a studio, a client’s home, or the therapist’s home. PeteHealth handles credentialing, billing, collections, and records, and pays the therapist by direct deposit for each covered visit. Therapists continue teaching their classes and choose how much time to devote to covered sessions. Pay details are discussed during the onboarding call.
