About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care for a diverse population of chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Hold current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices and PAM Health System standards.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
