About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to care for a diverse patient population in its hospital and rehabilitation system. The role focuses on direct patient care and on planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to physical therapy principles and practices. The assistant works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and may contribute to further development of services. Flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities is required. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learn.

Requirements

• Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to physical therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
