About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide care for a diverse patient population at its Texarkana LTACH. The role offers a flexible schedule. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who need extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn is sought.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Have current BLS certification.
- Have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
