About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for its diverse patient population. The role focuses on chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The PTA provides direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist and plans and implements individual treatment programs according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience is ideal, though candidates with a commitment to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
