About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for its New Braunfels LTACH/Rehab team. The role provides direct patient care to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The assistant also contributes to further development of the services and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
