Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN | Dallas Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for its new rehabilitation hospital in Dallas, opening this fall. The PTA will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist, planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to physical therapy principles and PAM Health System practices. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is desirable, though candidates who are committed to learning are also considered.
Requirements
- Hold a Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Hold a current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
