About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for its new Dallas rehabilitation hospital. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. The assistant works under the direction of a Physical Therapist, providing direct patient care and planning and implementing treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health practices. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcomed, as is a commitment to learn.

Requirements

Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health practices.
Contribute to the further development of services.
Be flexible to meet the system’s needs across different facilities.
